By now anyone who's remotely into Mortal Kombat would've already seen (or heard of) the MK Rebirth Fan trailer, as well as the new game being developed. Along with these, the rumors of a third movie is rearing its head again. So all of this has lured me back into fanart and fan fic (sorta). Before Rebirth was launched I had been working on a reboot version of my MK Fan Fic at the beginning of the year. While not in writing mode now, I'm more into dabbling back in Fan Art. Being rusty is not remotely the word for it. Working on that. I have one bit of artwork done shortly before Rebirth, which is a human version of Sareena. Currently up on my DeviantArt site (yes, I've also signed up for an account), it will be added to my MK Fan Art Gallery. Which brings me to the Other Fandom part of the title. Well now, what did I get myself sucked into now? Well... Harry Potter :) I don't foresee any plans for Fan Fic, butFan Art, definitely. Stay tuned. I have put back up some of my works, both Fan Fic and Fan Art. For the Fan Art, so far I've only put up Fan Art of my own original characters. What has also gone up are other Fan Artists' renditions of my characters. Canon characters will go up sometime this month, but only my own works. In other news, having a Samsung Omnia is a blessing. I've been able to work on the reboot fic on my way to and from work to my heart's content (and while lying on the bed and on the toilet, but that's TMI :p) I'm really happy with how its turning out, but I won't put out any chapters until I'm at least 75% sure of where I'm going. This is contrary to my original series, where I pretty much wrote by the seat of my pants. The Original series will return, albeit after some heavy handed editing, mostly to fix typos. I realized that I have devoted quite a number of years on it. It would be wrong not to have it return.
